This Meta^[1] page is for discussing my website and updates to it. It's not actual content, or at least it's not likely to be very interesting content, but it is hopefully stuff that is useful to visitors, so I'll mark updates to it so they show up in the feed occasionally. I will move old stuff from this page to Meta/Archive.

I'm moving servers, which means backing up and restoring my Mediawiki and all its pieces, and I'm also upgrading it to the current version. A lot of stuff broke, but I think I've fixed it all. Please email me if you see something wrong with the site, or the feeds, or whatever. Thanks!

↑ I find it quite humorous that Wikipedia page defining Meta has the standard Wikipedia content warning for pages with no references. Or, at least it did. They should have left it like that.

-I think a) there is a problem with the feeds, and b) I think I found it.  I need to double check, but I think the WikiFeeds extension I'm using isn't computing the 'updated' tag right for minor edits on Atom, or for any edits on the RSS feed (less sure about that last one).  Sorry for the annoyance if minor edits are showing up in your feeds.  I'll fix it soon.

-Okay, I think I'm crack-smoking...the feed and the list seem fine.  Hmm, I do think I probably need to provide unique links in the feeds to work with for edits, now that I think about it...

-Hmm, minor edits are showing up in both the [[Recent Changes|recent changes list]] and the [http://chrishecker.com/Special:WikiFeeds/atom/recentarticlechanges feeds].  Need to figure out why.  Sorry about that.
-Also, if you're subscribed to the "newarticles" feed, you really want to switch to the "recentarticlechanges" feed on the [[Subscribe]] page, so it will catch edits.  My original subscription page was ambiguous about which one to join, but now it should be clear.  Of course, the fact that the minor edits are showing up is slightly undermining my advice here, but I'll fix that shortly.
